Acacia Motor Services Sdn Bhd seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance, inspections, and repairs on facility systems, equipment, and machinery. You will troubleshoot issues, carry out preventive maintenance, and respond to service requests to ensure safe and reliable operations.
The role requires a diploma in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics or industrial maintenance, with a bachelor’s degree being an added advantage.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance, inspections, and repairs on facility systems, equipment, and machinery. This role ensures safe, efficient, and reliable operations by troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to service requests.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment, machines, and building systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
Respond promptly to maintenance work orders, breakdowns, and emergencies.
Replace or repair defective components such as motors, belts, bearings, wiring, and fixtures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance logs.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and correctly.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards at all times.
Assist in facility upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement activities.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
Academic Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Industrial Maintenance or any related technical field
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent is an added advantage
Skills & Experience:
Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and respond efficiently to emergencies
