Job summary

THE CULVERT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and inspections of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural components. You will identify and repair malfunctions promptly to keep facilities operating smoothly.

You will conduct preventative maintenance programmes, respond to staff and guest requests, maintain records, and coordinate with external contractors while ensuring health and safety compliance in all work.

Qualifications

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural components
• Identify, diagnose, and repair equipment malfunctions and mechanical issues promptly
• Conduct preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and extend the lifespan of facilities and equipment
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and guests in a timely manner, prioritising urgent issues
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and equipment servicing
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations in all maintenance work
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors when specialised repairs are required
• Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Support the housekeeping and operations teams to ensure facilities meet cleanliness and functionality standards
