Job summary

Ardex Quicseal Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and coach the production team in operating and maintaining equipment. The role focuses on improving machinery efficiency, reducing downtime, and coordinating maintenance with engineers and vendors.

You will ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, act as a backup for wastewater treatment, and support IETS operations when available.

Qualifications

• Perform and supervise maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Improve efficiency of machinery and equipment by applying engineering knowledge.
• Adhere to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and coaching production team operate the equipment correctly and following the instructions
• Ensure the equipment is well maintained
• Assist in the production by improving the efficiency of the machineries and equipment
• Minimizing and lessening the downtimes of the machineries
• Liaise with maintenance engineer and production team for maintenance schedule
• Work closely with vendors, suppliers and contractors for repair and maintenance of equipment’s
• Monitor stock availability of spare parts
• Act as a waste water treatment backup personal in the absent of the WWTP Superintendent
• To assist in IETS operation when only available and free from maintenance operation.
• Any other duties assigned by Maintenance Manager, QEHS Manager and Production Manager.
• Act as Competent Person for Bag Filter Operation and ensure bag filter operation and dust collector managed in accordance to legal requirements.
