Job summary

Kamaya Electric (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment in our Ipoh, Malaysia plant. You will follow schedules, complete checklists, and report issues to supervision promptly.

You will attend daily meetings, maintain spare parts storage compliance, execute planned maintenance per SOP, and document repairs in the ESO system, aiming for quick turnaround and minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to follow SOPs and complete checklists accurately.
• Proven troubleshooting and timely machine repair skills.
• Experience documenting repairs in maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Preventive and Predictive Maintenance as assigned by the superior per its schedule.
• Report any major problem related to the machine and product quality to the superior immediately.
• Attend daily morning group meeting to report previous day matters.
• Understand and abide all Spare Parts Storage Room rules at all time.
• Make sure all equipments' Daily / Weekly / Monthly Checksheet are checked and filled in completely.
• Understand the Department's PDIP Control Point and follow up with any implement action plans to achieve the target.
• Make sure all Planned Maintenance Job are performed on time and followed to each job's SOP.
• Responds to any machine breakdown as soon as possible. Fill in all details completely into the ESO after finish repair.
• Troubleshoot / repair machine in the shortest time possible. Refer to the superior immediately if have technical difficulties / unable to finish the job.

Troubleshoot / repair machine in the shortest time possible. Refer to the superior immediately if have technical difficulties / unable to finish the job.
