Job summary

Ardex Quicseal Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable supervisor to oversee the production team and ensure equipment is operated correctly. The role focuses on maintaining machinery, reducing downtime, and coordinating with maintenance for schedules.

You will work with vendors and contractors for repairs, monitor spare parts stock, and ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards. Additional duties may be assigned by the Maintenance Manager, QEHS Manager and Production Manager.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in production is preferred.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and coaching production team to operate the equipment correctly and follow instructions.
• Ensure the equipment is well maintained.
• Assist in the production by improving the efficiency of the machineries and equipment.
• Minimizing and reducing the downtimes of the machineries.
• Liaise with maintenance engineer and production team for maintenance schedule.
• Work closely with vendors, suppliers and contractors for repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Monitor stock availability of spare parts.
• Act as a waste water treatment backup personnel in the absence of the WWTP Superintendent.
• Assist in IETS operation when available and free from maintenance operation.
• Adhere to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standard requirements.
• Any other duties assigned by Maintenance Manager, QEHS Manager and Production Manager.
• Act as Competent Person for Bag Filter Operation and ensure bag filter operation and dust collector managed in accordance to legal requirements.
