Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for production and facility systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures within manufacturing or food processing environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams.

Responsibilities

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role based in Shah Alam. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, diagnosing faults, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and carrying out repairs or adjustments to minimize downtime. The role also involves executing preventive maintenance schedules, documenting maintenance activities, coordinating with production teams during breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives for equipment reliability and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for production and facility systems.
• Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
• Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or related field) is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures within manufacturing or food processing environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams.
• Willingness to work in shifts, respond to urgent breakdowns, and perform hands‑on tasks in a factory setting.
