The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor's in Maintenance, Engineering or related technical field, at least 1 year in manufacturing, and strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, maintenance

Equipment Maintenance position located in Senai, Johor. The role involves performing preventive and routine maintenance on production equipment, facilities and machinery, covering both electrical and mechanical systems to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.

Key responsibilities

Perform preventive and routine maintenance on production equipment, facilities and machinery, covering both electrical and mechanical systems to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.

Assist in machine setup, troubleshooting and basic or complex repairs under the guidance of engineers or supervisors.

Conduct regular inspections of facilities, electrical systems and mechanical components to identify issues and report findings for corrective action.

Support production engineers by ensuring machines and equipment run smoothly, contributing to workflow efficiency and product quality.

Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized servicing when required.

Follow safety and health regulations in all maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe working environment.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage and equipment history.

Respond promptly to breakdowns or emergency maintenance requests, assisting in troubleshooting and restoring equipment quickly.

Provide input to improve equipment performance, facility efficiency and overall productivity.

Prepare documentation and reports related to maintenance activities and other assigned tasks.

About you

A SPM, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Maintenance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline is required; advanced qualifications will be an advantage.

Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or production engineering, with exposure to process improvement and supervisory responsibilities considered beneficial.

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, equipment maintenance practices, and basic automation processes.

Ability to perform maintenance tasks, support production operations, and contribute to improvements in equipment reliability and efficiency.

Commitment to workplace safety, proactive issue resolution and maintaining high standards of quality.

Proficient command of Bahasa Melayu and English, both written and spoken.

Reliable attendance and punctuality, with professionalism and integrity in all tasks.

Own transport and commuting ability, ensuring reliability and flexibility to meet operational and customer needs.
