To support the smooth and safe operation of factory machinery, equipment and facilities by carrying out preventive maintenance, basic repair and inspection activities, while ensuring all maintenance, calibration, cleaning and equipment records are properly maintained and updated. The position is also responsible for monitoring maintenance and calibration schedules and supporting the commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
To support the smooth and safe operation of factory machinery, equipment and facilities by carrying out preventive maintenance, basic repair and inspection activities, while ensuring all maintenance, calibration, cleaning and equipment records are properly maintained and updated. The position is also responsible for monitoring maintenance and calibration schedules and supporting the commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance (PM), routine inspection, servicing and minor repairs of machinery and equipment.
Attend to equipment breakdowns, perform basic troubleshooting and assist with corrective maintenance.
Carry out water filter backwash and maintain the relevant records.
Conduct routine equipment cleaning and hygiene checks and maintain cleaning records.
Conduct glass & brittle plastic inspections and report any abnormalities or breakages.
Maintain the Equipment Calibration Master List and monitor the calibration schedule and due dates.
Coordinate external calibration and ensure calibration certificates and status labels are properly maintained.
Assist with installation, inspection and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance, inspection, calibration and equipment records for traceability and audit purposes.
Ensure maintenance-related documents are properly filed and readily available for HACCP, Halal and other audits.
Work closely with Production and QA/QC on equipment inspections, maintenance issues and corrective actions.
Comply with all company safety, hygiene, food safety and environmental requirements.
Minimum Diploma/Degree or equivalent.
Technical or mechanical/electrical qualification is an advantage.
Preferably 1–2 years of experience in factory maintenance, engineering or machinery maintenance.
Experience in food manufacturing is an advantage.
Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance.
Able to use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment.
Basic understanding of preventive maintenance.
Basic understanding of calibration and measuring instruments.
Able to read maintenance checklists and equipment manuals.
Able to complete maintenance and inspection records accurately.
Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel/Word.
Able to maintain equipment lists and schedules.
Responsible and disciplined.
