Winchester Interconnect (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Maintenance Technician to set up machines and hand tools, perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs across tooling and equipment. The role requires SPM/Certificate/Diploma in engineering and strong Excel skills, with shift-based work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, Certificate and Diploma in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics), or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Must be flexible to work on a shift-based schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and hand tools including cutting, stripping, clamping, crimping and molding equipment.
• Total preventive maintenance for all machines and hand tools.
• Internal and external calibration for tooling and equipment.
• Repair broken tooling and equipment.
• Chemical control.
• ESD contract.

Job description

1. All machines and hand tools setup such as cutting, stripping, clamping, crimping & molding machine.

2. Total preventive maintenance for all machines and hand tools.

3. Internal and external calibration for tooling and equipment.

4. Repair broken tooling and equipment.

6. Chemical control

7. ESD contract
