Eastwood Valley Golf & Country Club is seeking a maintenance technician to carry out preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs to keep the resort's buildings, guest rooms, event facilities and systems safe, functional and in good condition.
You will perform routine inspections and repairs across guest rooms, dining areas, halls, offices, public areas, pool and golf facilities; respond to breakdowns; record work in the maintenance log; and follow safety procedures and PPE guidelines.
To carry out preventive maintenance, inspections and repair works to ensure the resort's buildings, guest rooms, event facilities, equipment and systems remain safe, functional and in good condition.
Key responsibilities
Perform routine inspection, maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and bathrooms, restaurants, kitchens and banquet areas, exhibition halls and meeting rooms, offices, public areas and staff areas, swimming pool, gym and recreational facilities, golf clubhouse and driving range facilities
Attend to maintenance requests and breakdowns involving electrical fittings, lighting and power points, plumbing, water supply and drainage, air-conditioning and ventilation systems, doors, locks, windows and furniture, pumps, motors and mechanical equipment, painting, ceiling, wall and minor building repairs, kitchen and laundry equipment
Respond promptly to urgent guest-room and operational breakdowns
Carry out preventive maintenance according to the approved maintenance schedule
Inspect equipment and facilities before major functions, weddings, conferences and exhibitions
Record all complaints, repair works, materials used and completed jobs in the maintenance logbook or job-order system
Report major defects, repeated breakdowns and safety hazards to the immediate supervisor
Maintain tools, equipment, spare parts and workshop areas in a clean and organised condition
Monitor contractors working on the property and ensure they follow the resort's safety and operational requirements
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout procedures, correct use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools and chemicals
