Job summary

Qanova Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Penang, Malaysia to inspect buildings, equipment, and hotel rooms, identify issues, and perform repairs across electrical, mechanical, heating, plumbing, and related systems. The role involves routine inspections, safety logging, and keeping daily work records.

You will assist with ventilation, refrigeration, alarms, locks, windows, and general upkeep projects. On-site work with multi-discipline duties is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting buildings, equipment's, hotel rooms and systems to identify any issues.
• Fix faulty equipment, structures, and mechanical systems.
• Perform maintenance of electrical.
• Assist with ventilation, refrigeration, and related repairs.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned projects (ie: painting, carpentry, servicing air-cond. & etc.)
• Maintain accurate records regarding routine inspections of all mechanical equipment, safe handling procedures of chemicals, and daily work/project logs.
