Job summary

Malayan Flour Mills Berhad in Lumut, Perak, Malaysia is seeking a Finance/Costing support role. The position focuses on accurate costing data for analysis and reporting, liaising with stakeholders and HQ on discrepancies, handling supplier invoices, and processing monthly closings for VOH/FOH.

You will also manage petty cash, maintain financial records and fixed asset trackers, and prepare weekly trackers for review with the team. Apply to contribute to a growing, halal-focused enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all data on costing are recorded with accuracy for analysis and reporting purposes.
• To liaise with stakeholder and HQ office on any discrepancy cost reporting.
• Oversees the tasks of receiving billing from supplier and sending invoices to HQ Finance for entry and payment purpose.
• Be responsible for plant petty cash management, maintaining financial records and preparation of financial reports and spreadsheets.
• To analyze & prepare weekly tracker and liaise with team on unusual trending. Actively track, monitor and maintain all records of fixed assets.
• To assist with monthly closing report (VOH, FOH).
• To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
