Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) invites applications for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to analyze production processes and drive efficiency improvements across primary poultry processing operations. You will lead Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen initiatives, perform time studies, Gemba observations, RBC verifications, and collaborate with operations, quality, engineering and supply chain.

• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to conduct time studies and process analyses to identify bottlenecks.
• Familiarity with Gemba observations and RBC verification is a plus.

Analyze current production processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, areas for improvement.

Lead and support continuous improvement projects applying methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen to identify improvement opportunities.

Ensure thorough process understanding through pre-analysis, including Gemba observation and verification of Return to Basic Condition (RBC), prior to conducting process analysis, time studies, and workflow optimization in primary poultry processing operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, engineering/maintenance and supply chain to implement process improvements.

Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality and safety.

Conduct root cause analysis on production issues and develop corrective action plans.

Facilitate training and workshops to promote continuous improvement culture among plant employees.

Support the implementation of best practices across the processing lines.

Support the integration of automation and technology upgrades to enhance operational efficiency.

Ensure all improvement initiatives comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Prepare and maintain performance reports and improvement dashboards, and present analysis, outcomes, and recommendations from continuous improvement initiatives to management.
