Job summary

Malayan Flour Mills Berhad is seeking a Production Assistant to plan, control, and manage the daily operation of our flour milling production lines. The role focuses on running balanced lines, meeting efficiency targets, and ensuring product quality while following safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has a technical background with an eagerness to learn and adapt to rotating shifts. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and experience in food manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
• Possess troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn process operations.
• Experience in food manufacturing, or related industries is an added advantage.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts and adhere to food safety and workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, control and manage the efficient running of the production lines to meet daily targets.
• Execute daily shift production schedule by operating and balancing the wheat cleaning and flour milling production lines to achieve target efficiency, extraction rates, capacity and quality.
• Adhere to Safety Operating Procedures and ISO 22000 requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering for autonomous preventive maintenance to maintain efficient production level.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by management.

Job description

To plan, control and manage the efficient running of the production lines to meet daily target.

To execute daily shift production schedule by operating and balancing the wheat cleaning and flour milling production lines in order to achieve the target efficiency, extraction rates, capacity and quality compliance of the products.

Adhere to Safety Operating Procedures.

To ensure that the Production Assistant undertakes the necessary autonomous preventive maintenance and coordinate with engineering in order to achieve efficient production level.

To comply with the requirements of ISO 22000 and to support and to participate in ISO 22000 activities.

To perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience:
