Job summary

Improvage Precision Sdn Bhd in Melaka (Ayer Keroh) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to conduct daily inspections of premises and equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and handle basic repairs such as replacing light bulbs. You will diagnose mechanical issues and repair machinery to keep production lines running smoothly.

You will also maintain building upkeep, manage supplies for repairs, assist with renovations, and ensure safety systems like detectors are functional.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of premises and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Handle basic repairs and maintenance such as replacing light bulbs.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
• Perform general maintenance tasks for the building, such as window washing, drywall repair, plastering, carpentry, flooring repair, painting and more.
• Detect building issues in electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Do pest control, pool maintenance and landscaping.
• Ensure safety systems (smoke and CO detectors) are functioning properly.
• Make and install new furniture or equipment.
• Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain records of work and inspections.
• Collaborate with workers during renovations.
• Clean and assist with upkeep of facilities.
• To conduct any ad-hoc tasks requested by Top Management.

Job description

Performing preventative maintenance.

Handling basic repairs and maintenance such as replacing light bulbs.

Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.

Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.

Performing general maintenance tasks for the building, such as window washing, drywall repair, plastering, carpentry, flooring repair, painting and more.

Detecting, identifying and repairing building issues, like basic problems with the building's electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

Doing pest control, pool maintenance and landscaping.

Ensuring all safety systems are functioning properly, including smoke and carbon monoxide detectors

Making and installing new furniture or equipment.

Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.

Maintaining records of any work and inspections done on-premises.

Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.

Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.

To conduct any ad-hoc tasks request from the Top Management at any time.
