As the Maintenance Supervisor CUM Chargeman, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the maintenance team while acting as the certified competent person for our electrical installations. You will ensure all plant equipment runs efficiently, minimize downtime, and ensure strict compliance with the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations and company safety standards.

Key responsibilities

Act as the registered competent person for the facility and ensure all electrical installations, switchboards, and equipment comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations and statutory requirements

Supervise, train, and guide the maintenance team (technicians and fitters), delegating tasks effectively and ensuring high-quality workmanship

Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for all plant machinery, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems

Lead the immediate response to machinery breakdowns or power disruptions to minimize production downtime

Conduct root cause analysis on recurring faults

Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and calibrations

Monitor and manage the inventory of critical spare parts and maintenance supplies

Maintain accurate daily maintenance logs, electrical inspection reports, and safety documentation

About you

Possess a valid Chargeman Certificate recognized and registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)

Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in a manufacturing or production environment

At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role

Strong hands‑on knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, PLC, pneumatics, and hydraulics

Excellent problem‑solving abilities

Ability to work well under pressure
