Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Possess Chargeman Competent Certificate (PW4/A0).
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience as electrician or wireman in electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring techniques; able to troubleshoot faults.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all departments and contractors to carry out maintenance safely and efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Install electrical systems including lighting, power outlets, control panels, cable trays and conduit systems.
• Attend to electrical and instrumentation breakdowns at the terminal; perform basic troubleshooting and calibration.
• Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks and manage related work orders.
• Coordinate and support project work executions; create maintenance/reports for supervisors.

Job description

To coordinate with all department and contractors to carry out the required maintenance job without compromising the safety and quality of the job.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Ensure all work adheres to safety procedures and regulations, using personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.

Install new electrical systems, including lighting, power outlets, control panels, cable trays, and conduit systems.

Attend to all electrical and instrumentation breakdowns within the terminal.

Conduct basic troubleshooting and calibration of instrumentation equipment such as temperature, pressure, and level sensors, as well as weighing systems

Perform all electrical routine maintenance tasks and manage related work notifications/maintenance orders.

Coordinate and support project work executions as required.

Carry out any additional duties assigned by Management.

Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical school or apprenticeship program is preferred.

License/Certification: Possess a Chargeman Competent Certificate (PW4/A0).

Experience: Previous experience as an electrician or wireman, minimum 2 years of practical experience in electrical maintenance.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring techniques, and able to troubleshoot faults in electrical systems.

Physical Ability: Able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects and other physical works

Communication: Ability to work well in a team and communicate across departments.

Others: Proficiency in hydraulic and mechanical systems will be an advantage.
