Job summary

Farm Fresh Berhad in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, invites qualified individuals to join our electrical operations team as an A4 Chargeman. You will operate, monitor, and maintain electrical power distribution systems, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with ST regulations and company SHE procedures.

This role requires a valid Chargeman A4 certificate, a related Diploma or Degree is an advantage, 2–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, and willingness to work shifts or on-call.

Qualifications

Valid Chargeman A4 competency certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
Good knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Willing to work shifts/on-call when required.
Able to respond to electrical emergencies independently.

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and maintain the electrical power distribution system.
Ensure electrical equipment and related systems operate safely and efficiently.
Carry out routine inspection, testing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Attend to electrical breakdowns and perform necessary corrective actions.
Coordinate with contractors for electrical maintenance and repair works.

Job description

Operate, monitor, and maintain the electrical power distribution system.

Ensure electrical equipment, switchboards, transformers, generators, and related systems operate safely and efficiently.

Carry out routine inspection, testing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

Monitor electrical consumption and identify potential electrical faults or abnormalities.

Attend to electrical breakdowns and perform necessary corrective actions.

Ensure all electrical installations comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements and applicable regulations.

Maintain electrical maintenance records, inspection reports, and documentation.

Coordinate with contractors and service providers for electrical maintenance and repair works.

Ensure electrical work is carried out safely and in accordance with company SHE procedures.

Support electrical improvement and energy-saving initiatives.

Perform other duties related to electrical operations and maintenance as assigned.

Education & Skills Requirements

Possess a valid Chargeman A4 competency certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.

Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field is an advantage.

Minimum 2–5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Good knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of electrical safety requirements and relevant ST regulations.

Able to work independently and respond to electrical emergencies.

Willing to work shifts/on-call when required.
