Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Assistant to join our team at KLIA, Sepang. The role involves assisting with maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of fuel dispenser vehicles and related equipment on-site in Sepang.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical, automotive, or technical background, and is eager to learn. Previous experience with cars, trucks, heavy vehicles or machinery is advantageous; training will be provided on the ground.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, mechanical, machinery, or equipment maintenance preferred.
• Experience working with cars, lorries/trucks, heavy vehicles or industrial machinery is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of mechanical tools and equipment.
• Comfortable with hands-on and physically active work.
• Willing to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with servicing and maintenance of fuel dispensing equipment and related machinery.
• Help troubleshoot mechanical issues and basic equipment problems.
• Carry out routine inspection, cleaning, adjustment, and replacement of mechanical components.
• Assist with dismantling, repairing, and reassembling equipment.
• Use basic hand tools safely and correctly.
• Follow safety procedures when working around fuel equipment.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with loading/unloading and transportation of tools and equipment.
• Learn fuel dispensing systems and maintenance procedures.
• Perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned.

This is a hands-on position suitable for someone with a mechanical, automotive, or technical background who is interested in developing practical skills in fuel dispensing equipment and mechanical maintenance. Full training will be provided on the ground, so candidates who have a strong interest in mechanical work and are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
