Job summary

L & P Machinery & Engineering Sdn Bhd – Gelang Patah, Johor is seeking a mechanical maintenance technician to carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment. You will perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and replacements while following safety procedures and site requirements.

Qualifications

• Certificate/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with port equipment or industrial maintenance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mechanical components, hydraulics, bearings, motors.
• Able to work independently or in a team and willing to work overtime/shifts/on-call.

• Minimum SKM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Experience in port equipment, machinery, or industrial maintenance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mechanical components, hydraulics, bearings, motors, and basic troubleshooting.
• Able to use basic mechanical tools and equipment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime, shifts, or on-call when required.
• Good safety awareness and a responsible working attitude.
