Job summary

Advance Genesis Equipment (South) in Gelang Patah, Johor is seeking a skilled Automobile Mechanic to join our team. You will maintain, inspect, and repair engines and related systems on a variety of forklift models, diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues to ensure reliable operation.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience, a diploma in mechanical/automobile preferred, and must possess a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on mechanical/automotive experience.
• Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile preferred.
• Valid driving license required.
• Forklift maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, service and repair engines and related equipment on various forklift models and brands.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues and implement solutions.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes and tune-ups to ensure smooth operation and regulatory compliance.
• Reassemble engines and parts after repair.
• Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, brake and electrical systems.
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure regulations compliance.
• Collaborate with team and provide technical guidance as needed.

Are you a skilled Automobile Mechanic? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team! We are seeking dedicated & experienced individuals who can contribute to our mission of providing forklift maintenance and repair services for our esteemed customers.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Maintain, inspections service and repair engines and other mechanical and related equipment on variety of forklifts models and brands.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical & hydraulic issues and implement appropriate solutions.
• Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
• Reassembling engines and spare parts after being repaired.
• Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, brake and electrical systems.
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations & guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and provide technical guidance when necessary.

REQUIREMENT:

• Minimum 2 year experience.
• Diploma holders in mechanical and/or automobile is preferred.
• Those with more experience can be considered, salary will be negotiable.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Positive attitude and responsible character.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Experience in forklift maintenance will be an added advantage.
• Possess valid driving license.
• Relevant certifications or licenses preferred.
