Job summary

T Hasegawa Flavours in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team, drive preventive maintenance, and ensure high equipment uptime across a manufacturing plant. You will analyze performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements while ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years in maintenance management, and proven leadership and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Electric/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong technical knowledge of AHU and hands-on experience in maintenance practices.
• Excellent leadership, team management, planning and admin skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Analytical mindset with ability to diagnose and solve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, plans, and preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.

• Oversee troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and other equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance processes, ensure safety compliance, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and materials, ensuring availability for timely repairs and replacements.
• Prepare and present regular maintenance reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended improvements.
