Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and breakdown maintenance, repairs, service and installation of machinery under supervision. You will complete maintenance records and assist in troubleshooting with urgency and quality.

The role requires a degree in Engineering and at least 1 year of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing, with added advantage for pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems or PLC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 1 year mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing is required.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical equipment or PLC is an advantage.
• Cachable, willing to learn and have growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform machinery maintenance, preventive maintenance, repair, service and installation under supervision.
• Complete and submit maintenance records/reports to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Troubleshoot root causes of machine problems and report to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time safely with quality.
• Conduct machine and condition monitoring when there are no breakdowns or issues as instructed.
• Ensure tools are properly used, cleaned and stored, and workshop remains tidy.
• Report spare parts usage to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Supervise maintenance helpers and contractors to ensure work is done accordingly.
• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

When there are no breakdowns or issues, conduct machine and condition monitoring as instructed.

Ensure tools are properly used, cleaned and stored.

Ensure workshop is always tidy and clean.

Supervise maintenance helpers and contractors to ensure work is done accordingly.

Undertake other responsibilities as and when assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENT

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering, or equivalent.

At least 1 year mechanical maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry.

Experience in pneumatic equipment, hydraulic system, electrical equipment or PLC will be an added advantage.

Coachable, willing to learn and have growth mindset.
