Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults and replace defective parts while ensuring safe, efficient operation.

Responsibilities include machine setup, facility maintenance, installing new equipment, Kaizen participation, and reporting abnormalities.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining production machinery and equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
• Ability to perform machine setup and adjustments.
• Commitment to safety and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to the maintenance schedule.
• Carry out corrective and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
• Replace defective machine parts and components.
• Perform machine setup and adjustments when required.
• Ensure all machines operate safely and efficiently.
• Maintain factory utilities and general building/facility maintenance.
• Monitor the condition of factory infrastructure and report abnormalities.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Participate in equipment modification and process improvement projects.
• Recommend improvements to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
• Assist other departments with maintenance-related work.
• Participate in Kaizen activities.
• Attend maintenance and safety training as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Participate in equipment modification and process improvement projects.
• Recommend improvements to reduce machine downtime and maintenance costs.

Support Functions

• Assist other departments with maintenance-related work.
• Participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities.
• Attend maintenance and safety training as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
