Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to plan, coordinate, and perform preventive maintenance on production machinery in a fast-paced facility.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic automation issues, aiming to minimise downtime and respond promptly to breakdowns. The role emphasizes compliance with food safety, GMP, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

• Plan, coordinate, and carry out preventive maintenance for production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic automation issues.
• Minimise equipment downtime and respond promptly to machinery breakdowns.
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement and increased reliability.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety, GMP, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Production and QA departments to minimise disruption to manufacturing operations.
• Manage and maintain maintenance records, equipment history, spare parts, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers when required.
• Support installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of new or existing equipment.
• Ensure the proper upkeep and maintenance of factory facilities and utilities.
