Job summary

Camaroe Berhad in Malaysia seeks a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing machinery, refrigeration systems, pumps, conveyors and factory equipment.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, conduct inspections, service cold room and temperature-control systems, maintain service records, monitor spare parts, ensure safety compliance, and keep the work area clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing machinery, refrigeration systems, pumps, conveyors and factory equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise production downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is safe, reliable and operating efficiently.
• Maintain and service cold room, chiller and other temperature-control equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair and equipment service records.
• Monitor spare parts, tools and maintenance supplies to ensure availability when needed.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace safety, hygiene, food safety and company procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area, and promptly report or rectify any safety hazards.
