Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of retail facilities (flooring, fixtures, lighting, HVAC)
• Carry out preventative maintenance to identify issues before they escalate
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from management and staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of maintenance storage areas and equipment
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and issues requiring specialist attention
• Coordinate with external contractors for complex tasks
• Maintain equipment logs and schedules for routine servicing and inspections

Job description

Performing routine maintenance and inspections of retail facilities, including flooring, fixtures, lighting, and HVAC systems

Conducting preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become significant problems

Responding promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from management and staff

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of maintenance storage areas and equipment

Documenting maintenance activities, repairs completed, and any issues requiring specialist attention

Performing basic repairs and replacements, including plumbing, electrical fixtures, and structural elements, as appropriate to your skillset

Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies

Coordinating with external contractors and specialists when required for more complex maintenance tasks

Maintaining equipment logs and schedules for routine servicing and inspections
