Job summary

Sena Diecasting Industries in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to coordinate machining and tooling activities on the shop floor. You will train machinists, set up machines and ensure smooth production flow in line with drawings and schedules.

The role emphasizes safe working practices, ergonomic considerations, and effective communication with subordinates. This is a full-time position with shifts as required by production needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Supervisor preferred (1 year).
• Ability to plan and organize tasks for subordinates.
• Familiar with machine operation and parameter setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize jobs for subordinates.
• Train machinists to perform offset and machine setup.
• Familiarize machinists and operators with part processes.
• Ensure workers operate safely and ergonomically.
• Prepare, arrange and setup production tooling for parts.
• Set up and program machines to meet drawing specifications.
• Produce parts per production schedule and meet deadlines.
• Maintain 5S in the production area.
• Assist production engineer in identifying spare tooling.
• Control tooling usage and replenishment.
• Propose process improvements where possible.
• Perform other duties as required by superiors.

Experience:

Production Preparation and Control

a. To ensure all prepare, arrange and setup production tooling for part production.

b. To setup and program machine to produce part in accordance to drawing specification.

c. To produce part as per production schedule and to meet the targeted dateline.

d. To ensure the 5S activities are being carried out periodically.

Tooling Management

a. To assist production engineer in identifying spare tooling required.

b. To control the usage of tooling and make replenishment when required.

Others

a. To propose for process improvement wherever possible.

b. To perform any other jobs or duties and when required by superior.
