Job summary

Halton Group Asia in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking a Diploma-qualified Mechanical Technician to support production lines. You will perform production orders according to schedule, assist in setup, operation and maintenance of machinery, and monitor performance to ensure optimal operation.

You will conduct routine inspections, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and help improve machine efficiency with the team.

Qualifications

• Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• Basic understanding of machine operations and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to read, interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
