Job summary

Denso (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist the maintenance supervisor in daily machine upkeep, preventive maintenance and breakdown support.

Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering is required; you should have basic knowledge of PLCs, servo motors, pneumatic systems and reading drawings; on-site role with safety focus.

You will contribute to TPM activities, equipment upgrades and spare-part management to keep high quality output and productivity.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or related course.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, PLCs, and servo motors.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems and maintenance activities.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings with basic knowledge of machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance supervisor on preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Support breakdown maintenance and be on call when required.
• Assist in TPM 18 elements under maintenance.
• Help in new line/equipment setup and commissioning.
• Optimize machine performance and OEE; contribute to equipment upgrades.

Job description

Responsible and assist maintenance superior in overall machine maintenance activities and ensure that the machineries are well maintain for high quality products, productivity and safe.

Responsible in supporting maintenance superior on plan and complete Preventive Maintenance activities as per schedule.

Responsible in supporting maintenance superior on Breakdown maintenance and to be on call whenever required.

Responsible in assisting maintenance superior on Kaizen or Corrective Maintenance activities.

Responsible in assisting maintenance superior on new line or equipment set up and commissioning.

Optimize the machine performance (Original Equipment Efficiency, OEE) and efficiency.

Work on concept of improving and upgrading of equipment for automation.

Ensure that all machineries spare part is available, sufficient and within reasonable stock holding cost.

To ensure that the chemical for machinery and equipment such as oil and grease are properly managed as to comply with ISO 14001.

To ensure that the overall Maintenance tools are sufficient and well managed.

To ensure full implementation of Maintenance working procedure.

Responsible in supporting TPM 18 element under maintenance section.

Report to superior on any abnormalities found (machine abnormalities, spare parts, etc.)

Involving in breakdown analysis and prepare necessary documents such as reports, annuals, etc.

To involve and take parts on organization activities as safety, 5S, SS QCC etc.

Job Requirement:

Diploma In Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or any related course.

Possess basic knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, PLCs, and servo motors.

Possess basic knowledge of pneumatic systems and maintenance activities.

Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings with basic knowledge of machining processes.
