Job summary

ACE PARTNERS MANUFACTURING (M) SDN BHD in Nilai, Malaysia, is seeking a suitable candidate for a Machine Operator role in a manufacturing environment. You will operate machines according to SOPs, perform production tasks, and ensure quality while following safety and 5S standards.

The position requires SPM or equivalent, willingness to work shifts including overtime and weekends, good attendance, and the ability to read instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Able to read instructions and follow SOPs.
• Very good attendance and discipline.
• Willing to work shift, overtime, and weekends if required.
• Experience in manufacturing, CNC machining is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Production: Operate machines according to SOP and perform tasks based on schedule or supervisor instruction.
• Product Quality: Do basic self-inspection during and after production and report defects promptly.
• Safety & 5S: Follow safety rules and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Production Reporting: Record production data, defects, and downtime accurately and inform leaders of material shortages or issues.
• Teamwork: Work with leaders, technicians, and QA; participate in improvement activities and training.

Job Responsibilities

• 1. Machine Operation & Production
  • -Operate machines according to SOP.
  • -Perform production tasks based on schedule or supervisor instruction.
  • -Use tools and jigs correctly.
• 2. Product Quality
  • -Do basic self-inspection during and after production.
  • -Ensure products meet specifications and report defects immediately.
  • -Follow Work Instructions and Control Plan.
• 3. Safety & 5S
  • -Follow safety rules and wear required PPE.
  • -Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area (5S).
  • -Report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• 4. Production Reporting
  • -Record production data, defects, and downtime accurately.
  • -Inform leader of material shortage or machine/quality issues.
  • -Assist in machine setup or changeover when needed.
• 5. Teamwork
  • -Work closely with leaders, technicians, and QA.
  • -Participate in improvement activities (Kaizen, 5S).
  • -Attend training and follow updated procedures.
• Authority
  • -Operators are allowed to:
  • -Stop the machine if there is a quality or safety issue.
  • -Ask for support or elevate issues to the leader/technician.
  • -Suggest improvements to enhance safety or efficiency.

• Very Good attendance and discipline
• No major medical issues that prevent machine operation
• Experience in manufacturing, CNC machining is an advantage (but not required)
