A quality control role responsible for managing and controlling the quality of production processes, conducting inspections, analyzing quality issues, and implementing improvements across manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Control the quality of production processes according to quality systems and relevant requirements, recording data and analyzing root causes of problems
- Instruct and supervise inspectors to perform incoming raw material inspection and analyze abnormalities
- Manage documents and drawings within the scope of duties
- Supervise inspectors to check and record the quality of pre-delivery processes according to drawings and inspection standards
- Sample product quality at each process stage and suggest improvements
- Perform strict quality control on suppliers selected by the procurement department and provide timely feedback on unqualified problems
- Analyze and deal with quality accidents, propose improvement measures, and implement the quality accident assessment system
- Investigate and analyze non-conforming product assessment, disposal, customer complaints, and site quality disputes
- Check the implementation of quality processing results
- Prepare annual, monthly and weekly quality statistical reports, product quality improvement reports, and quality management reports
About you
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in MEP
- Able to interpret precast drawings
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking
Willing to travel in Malaysia
- Positive working attitude
- Basic English and Mandarin communication and writing skills preferred. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
