Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to uphold quality across projects. You will review drawings and specs, ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements, and implement corrective actions.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2–3 years QA/QC experience, with strong ISO 9001 knowledge. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams and documenting quality records on site in Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC.
• Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, utilities, or infra projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation such as ITPs and Method Statements.
• Review drawings, specifications, calculations and project documents for compliance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement CAPA.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor NCRs until satisfactory closure.
• Coordinate internal and external quality audits per ISO 9001 and client requirements.
• Maintain document control and ensure all quality records are traceable.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project, Production and Site teams to resolve issues.
• Review supplier quality documents, material certificates, and inspection reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

• Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, Quality Plans, inspection reports, and quality records.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, calculations, and project documents to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Prepare, issue, and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) until satisfactory closure.
• Coordinate and participate in internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and client requirements.
• Maintain document control and ensure all quality records are properly filed and traceable.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project, Production, and Site teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Review supplier quality documents, material certificates, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
• Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, utilities, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.

• Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
