ACTER TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced M&E / Cleanroom CAD Drafter to join our engineering team in Batu Kawan, Penang. This full-time role focuses on producing detailed CAD drawings for mechanical and electrical systems in cleanroom environments.

You will prepare drawings for HVAC, ducting, piping, electrical and mechanical systems, and coordinate with engineers, site teams and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specs.

Formación

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/ M&E or CAD Drafting.
• 1–2 years of relevant M&E, cleanroom or factory drafting experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and reading technical drawings.
• Willing to travel to project sites as required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare M&E, cleanroom and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed drawings for HVAC, ducting, piping, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Prepare cleanroom layouts, including partitions, ceiling layouts, equipment layouts and M&E services.
• Prepare shop drawings, installation drawings and as-built drawings.
• Revise drawings according to engineer instructions, site conditions and project requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with M&E engineers, project engineers, site teams, subcontractors and other disciplines.
• Conduct site measurements and verify existing site conditions when required.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with project specifications, construction requirements and relevant standards.
• Maintain proper control and filing of drawing revisions and technical documents.
• Perform other drafting and technical duties as assigned by the superior.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled M&E / Cleanroom CAD Drafter to join our engineering team at ACTER TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in Batu Kawan, Penang. As an M&E / Cleanroom CAD Drafter, you will play a crucial role in producing detailed technical drawings and documentation for mechanical and electrical systems within cleanroom environments. Your work will be instrumental in supporting our engineering projects and ensuring that all designs meet stringent industry standards and client specifications. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cleanroom technology projects whilst developing your expertise in specialised engineering drafting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop M&E, cleanroom and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed drawings for HVAC, ducting, piping, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Prepare cleanroom layouts, including partitions, ceiling layouts, equipment layouts and M&E services.
• Prepare shop drawings, installation drawings and as-built drawings.

What we're looking for

• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, M&E, CAD Drafting or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in M&E, cleanroom, factory or industrial construction projects is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Experience in M&E / cleanroom / factory construction drawings will be an added advantage.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
