Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Laundry Manager to lead the Laundry operations within Housekeeping. You will supervise, direct and develop the team, ensuring high standards and efficient processes in a luxury hotel setting.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills and a track record in premium hospitality. Based in Kuala Lumpur, it offers development opportunities and a focus on guest service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience as Assistant Laundry Manager within the luxury hotel industry.
• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Hotel Management.
• Previous experience is essential in similar department or capacity.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and non-verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement current systems and technical advancement in Laundry operations.
• Formulate washing formulas for stained loads and ensure linen and uniforms are cleaned to standard.
• Maintain and upkeep of all laundry equipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering for routine maintenance of equipment.
• Develop new methods to increase laundry efficiency.
• Coordinate with maintenance team for outstanding repairs of machinery.
• Overall controlling and supervision of the Department.
• Train and coordinate with supporting Departments.
