Responsibilities

• Assume responsibilities of Assistant Director Housekeeper in her/his absence.
• Supervise day-to-day Housekeeping operations and ensure Brand Standards are followed.
• Manage daily roster of Room attendants and adjust shifts as needed.
• Conduct training, inspect work, and give direction.
• Conduct appraisals of Supervisors and Team members; disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure hotel and housekeeping regulations are followed by all team members.
• Attend and conduct Housekeeping communication meetings.
• Investigate complaints, take corrective action and escalate as needed.
• Regularly inspect VIP guestrooms, public areas, F&B outlets and offices.
• Recommend rooms to be taken out of service; coordinate with Engineering & Front Office.
• Supervise the use of guest supplies, cleaning detergents, equipment; follow up on maintenance.
• Recommend improvements of cleaning products and equipment.
• Monitor guestroom project schedules for carpets, upholstery, curtains and general cleaning.
