Job summary

Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor for a full-time, on-site position. You will lead the housekeeping team to maintain luxury standards across the property and ensure superb guest satisfaction.

The role requires 3-5 years of housekeeping experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, plus strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of housekeeping experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a luxury hotel environment or high-end hospitality establishment.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills; ability to motivate staff.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and manage housekeeping staff; maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Schedule and allocate work assignments to optimise efficiency and productivity.
• Address guest complaints related to cleanliness and room conditions promptly.
• Maintain records of room status, maintenance issues and inventory of supplies.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for seamless operations.
• Manage the housekeeping budget and control costs of supplies and equipment.
• Identify training needs and provide coaching and development sessions.
