Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in housekeeping in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, linen control, inventory, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations.
• Supervise and assign daily tasks to housekeeping colleagues.
• Ensure guestrooms, public areas, linen, and guest amenities meet cleanliness standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of guestrooms and public areas.
• Monitor housekeeping equipment, supplies, and inventory.
• Coordinate with Engineering on maintenance and repair work.
• Assist with manpower planning, scheduling, payroll, budgeting, and recruitment.
• Train, coach, and develop housekeeping staff.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Prepare departmental reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
