This full-time role focuses on safe, timely deliveries and strong customer service in a courier and logistics setting. Qualified applicants will hold a Heavy Goods Vehicle Class 2 licence with trailer endorsement and have 3–5 years of experience driving articulated vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with trailer endorsement.
• 3–5 years of professional experience driving articulated lorries and trailers.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or disqualifications.
• Knowledge of Malaysian road safety and transport legislation.
• Strong vehicle maintenance understanding and basic troubleshooting.
• Excellent time management and route planning abilities.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work independently on routes.
• Experience with GPS navigation systems and transport software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large articulated lorries and trailers in a safe and professional manner.

K C DURAI SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced and professional Lorry Driver Trailer to join our transport and logistics operations. This is a full-time position based in Ayer Tawar, Perak. As a Lorry Driver Trailer, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across designated routes. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction in the courier and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

Operate and maintain large articulated lorries and trailers in a safe and professional manner

Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled timelines and customer requirements

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical fitness and safety compliance

Load and secure cargo safely in accordance with weight distribution and regulatory requirements

Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery records, and fuel documentation as required

Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations whilst operating vehicles

Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse, and customer teams to coordinate deliveries

Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly

Maintain professional conduct and represent the company positively to clients and the public

Ensure compliance with all transportation and health and safety legislation

What we're looking for

Valid Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) or equivalent Class 2 driving licence with trailer endorsement

Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience driving articulated lorries and trailers
