What you'll be doing

• Operating and driving a 3-ton lorry safely and efficiently according to traffic regulations and company policies
• Planning and following delivery routes to ensure goods arrive at destinations on time
• Loading and securing cargo safely to prevent damage during transit
• Performing vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any mechanical issues or faults to management
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and trip documentation
• Communicating with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company operating procedures
• Keeping the vehicle clean and in a presentable condition at all times
• Handling customer interactions professionally and courteously during deliveries

What we're looking for

• A valid Class 2 or Class 3 driving licence with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience driving medium-sized commercial vehicles
• Strong knowledge of local roads and routes in the Perak region
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safe driving practices
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and handle goods safely
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with logistics software and GPS navigation systems is advantageous
