Job summary

SOCMA Trading (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator to move goods within the warehouse and to external sites, using forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move goods and materials between different areas of the warehouse and to external locations.
• Safely load and unload trucks, containers and other vehicles using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of goods, including stacking and securing items for transport.
• Operate forklifts, trucks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries, and related information.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Communicate with supervisors, team members and customers regarding deliveries and inventory.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Interact with customers and provide assistance when needed.

You will safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, and maintain a safe and organized work environment

Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers regarding deliveries, inventory, and other relevant information

Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate personnel

Participate in inventory counts and report any discrepancies

Interact with customers, answer questions and provide assistance
