Job summary

Selamat Supplies Sdn Bhd is seeking a warehouse operative to handle daily activities including receiving, storage, packing, and delivery scheduling. The role requires physical fitness to work in a cold environment and adherence to stock control procedures.

The successful candidate should possess SPM or higher, be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and have forklift skills and a valid GDL licence as plus factors. Teamwork, reliability, and good attendance are essential.

Qualifications

SPM or higher education qualification.
Fluent in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Forklift driving skills will be an added advantage.
Possession of a valid GDL licence will be an added advantage.
Able to take full responsibility for assigned tasks and work performed.
Able to work effectively in a team, with a positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and good attendance record.

Responsibilities

Physically fit and able to work in cold enviroment.
Responsbile for daily warehouse activities such as receiving, storage, packing and scheduling deliveries.
To ensure stock accuracy and inventory record updated correctly as per FIFO system.
To assist in loading and unloading of stocks from delivery truck. To assist in unloading of container.
Completing delivery orders. Picking and placing orders in a delivery area so that they are ready for dispatch in a timely manner.
Keeping track of outstanding delivery and goods returned.
To conduct annual stock take.
Ensure proper housekeeping & integrity of stock inventory.
Coordinate all store activities to ensure smooth operation of the store.
Stacking and storing goods in the appropriate area according to procedures.
Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely and responsibly (where authorized and trained).
To act as a stand-in driver and perform delivery duties whenever required on an incidental basis.
Carry out ad hoc tasks assigned by the warehouse executive/manager.
