Job summary

JK Schelkis Offshore Sdn Bhd in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, is seeking a Logistics Executive to coordinate land, sea, and air shipments, handle quotations, and liaise with clients and vendors. You will manage service requests, ensure profitability, and maintain audit-ready records.

Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Logistics or related field, 4–5 years in logistics/operations, knowledge of sea/air freight, strong communication and Excel skills; ISO 9001 SOPs knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics or related discipline.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, customer service, or operations coordination.
• Knowledge of sea freight and air freight is essential; land transport knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Proven track record in achieving sales and expanding client base; proficiency in MS Office (Excel).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and SOPs is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Responsibility of a Logistics Executive at JKS, will be including but not limiting to coordinating, customer service, managing logistics operations (land , sea and air), documentation and reporting. To ensure efficient service delivered up to customer satisfaction, achieving company sales target and profitability. In compliance with ISO 9001 standards and company SOPs.

Attending to customer enquiries, and ability to generate quality quotation, in time.

Ability to negotiate with clients and relevant vendors.

Fast response to customer enquiries.

Ability to convert quotations into firm sales orders. Good communication and negotiation skilss.

Manage the job execution, by coordinating service requests, between client, coordinators, subcontractors.

Resolve any operational and logistics issues.

Maintain customer satisfaction and continuous business.

Achieving self and Business Unit's sales target.

Ensure profitability and compliance of company policies.

Job file handling and proper transition to billing and accounts department.

Maintain proper operational records, comply with SOPs, support audits, and assist with corrective actions

Support safety requirements, regulatory compliance, and incident reporting

Prepare operational, customer service, and department reports while maintaining accurate, audit-ready records

Update customer, coordinate interdepartmental communication, and perform other assigned duties

About you

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, or related discipline

Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, customer service, or operations coordination

Good knowledge and experience in sea freight and air freight.

Knowledge in land transport is an advantage.

Good communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

Good track record in achieving sales and customer base.

Ability to manage existing client base and increase sales.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and logistics SOPs is an added advantage
