Lewis Personnel Management is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics and Shipping Operations Specialist to assist with shipment coordination, customer support, and daily transportation activities in Johor, Malaysia. This role will serve as the main contact for customers seeking shipment updates and will collaborate with logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.

Fluent in English and Mandarin with 2–3 years in logistics or shipping operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong written and spoken communication.
• 2–3+ years of experience in customer service, logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping operations.
• Experience in shipment monitoring, import/export coordination, or delivery management is a plus.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
• On-site work in Johor, Malaysia, 2:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer requests and provide updates regarding shipment progress and delivery schedules.
• Monitor cargo movements and regularly check shipment statuses.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight agents, warehouse personnel, and other logistics partners.
• Follow up on delayed or pending deliveries and assist in resolving shipment-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate shipment information, operational records, and logistics documentation.
• Support daily freight activities and ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics and Shipping Operations Specialist to assist with shipment coordination, customer support, and daily transportation activities. This position will serve as a point of contact for customers seeking shipment updates while working closely with logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer requests and provide updates regarding shipment progress and delivery schedules.

Monitor cargo movements and regularly check shipment statuses.

Coordinate with carriers, freight agents, warehouse personnel, and other logistics partners.

Follow up on delayed or pending deliveries and assist in resolving shipment-related concerns.

Maintain accurate shipment information, operational records, and logistics documentation.

Support daily freight activities and ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly.

Qualifications

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with good verbal and written communication skills.

2-3+ year of experience in customer service, logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping operations.

Background in shipment monitoring, import/export coordination, or delivery management is an advantage.

Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Able to communicate effectively with customers and different operational teams.

Willing to work on-site in Johor, Malaysia, from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Compensation and Benefits
