Job summary

Lewis Personnel Management seeks a Customer Service / Freight Operations Executive in Johor, Malaysia, on a 24-month renewable contract with a 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM schedule. You will handle customer inquiries, coordinate delivery arrangements, and support daily freight operations in a logistics-focused role.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Diploma in Business, Logistics, or related field, 2–3 years in logistics, fluency in English and Mandarin, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in customer service, freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics.
• Experience in time-critical logistics or international freight operations is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks independently.
• Willing to travel when required.
• A valid driver's license and personal transportation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, deliveries, and logistics concerns.
• Prepare and provide shipping quotations based on customer requirements.
• Track and monitor shipments and provide timely updates on delivery status.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, vendors, and other logistics partners.
• Follow up on delayed shipments and assist in resolving delivery issues.
• Assist with billing, invoice preparation, and customer registration.
• Prepare and maintain shipping records and related documentation.
• Coordinate with regional operations and headquarters teams to ensure smooth freight operations.
• Provide administrative and operational support for logistics activities.
