Job summary

Chipseng Heng Enterprise in Chemor, Perak, is seeking a Logistics Planner to plan and coordinate daily truck movements and allocate drivers efficiently.

You will handle job orders, confirm delivery specifics with customers, and cooperate with the workshop to keep vehicles ready, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in haulage, trucking, or logistics planning; fresh graduates may be junior.
• Strong knowledge of trucking operations, routing, and scheduling.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics/transport management systems.
• Willing to be based at Chemor, Perak; accommodation provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily truck movements for haulage operations.
• Receive and process job orders from customers; allocate trucks and drivers timely.
• Arrange and assign drivers based on availability, route, and compliance.
• Communicate with customers to confirm orders and delivery status.
• Coordinate with workshop to ensure vehicle readiness and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, transport regulations and SOPs.
• Resolve operational issues, delays, or driver shortages to minimize disruptions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports.

Arrange and assign drivers based on availability, route, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Communicate with customers to confirm job orders, delivery status, and any special requirements.

Coordinate with workshop/maintenance team to ensure vehicle readiness and minimize downtime.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, transport regulations, and company SOPs.

Proactively resolve operational issues, delays, or driver shortages to minimize service disruptions.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports for management review.

Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or equivalent.

Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in haulage, trucking, or logistics planning (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).

Strong knowledge of trucking operations, routing, and scheduling.

Proficient in MS Office and logistics/transport management systems.

Strong problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes.

Team player with high level of responsibility and attention to detail.

Transport and accommodation allowance will be provided for outstation candidates, subject to company policy.

Willing to be based at Chemor, Perak .

Accommodation will be provided if necessary.
