Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to plan and coordinate inbound and outbound transportation of livestock and finished products, including eggs and fertilizers. Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound transportation of livestock, and finished products (e.g., eggs, Fertilizer).
Ensure compliance with biosecurity measures, animal welfare regulations, and food safety standards.
Manage relationships with transport service providers and ensure vehicle maintenance for livestock and product transport.
Optimize delivery routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Ensure timely dispatch and tracking of shipments while minimizing losses and damages.
Monitor fleet operations and ensure vehicle maintenance and safety compliance.
Work closely with the warehouse team to optimize inventory control and storage management.
Ensure stock accuracy and oversee the movement of goods.
Assist in planning and forecasting inventory levels based on demand.
Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and reduce transportation costs.
Analyze data and generate reports to monitor performance and identify trends.
Analyze logistics data and generate reports on transportation efficiency, delivery times, and costs.
Implement best practices to enhance supply chain performance and sustainability.
Collaborate with farm operations, procurement, and sales teams to align logistics with business needs.
Act as the primary contact for logistics queries and issue resolution.
Ensure clear communication with suppliers, transporters, vendors and customers.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in livestock, poultry, or agribusiness.
Experience in the agricultural, manufacturing, or FMCG industry is a plus.
Experience in managing cold chain logistics and biosecurity protocols is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and warehouse management in the livestock sector.
Familiarity with biosecurity and animal welfare regulations.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive operations.
