Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Manager, Logistics to join our Sitiawan, Perak operations. This full-time role oversees logistics, distribution networks, transportation operations and continuous improvement to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in logistics management within manufacturing or food processing, strong leadership and staff development, and solid knowledge of logistics systems, WMS and related software to optimise costs and service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in logistics management or similar supply chain roles within manufacturing or food processing.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all logistics and distribution operations, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers
• Manage transportation operations, including fleet scheduling, route optimisation and vehicle maintenance coordination
• Supervise and develop logistics staff, including warehouse personnel, drivers and distribution coordinators
• Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock management practices to minimise wastage and costs
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities
• Implement and maintain logistics systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Analyse logistics performance metrics and prepare reports for management on key performance indicators
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards and company policies across all logistics operations
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures whilst maintaining service quality standards
• Manage logistics budgets and control expenditure on transportation, warehousing and related services

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Logistics to join us in Sitiawan, Perak. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing our logistics operations and ensuring the efficient movement of products throughout our supply chain. What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in logistics management or similar supply chain roles within the manufacturing or food processing industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing logistics operations, transportation fleets and warehouse facilities
• Strong knowledge of logistics systems, warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation software
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Sound understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management and distribution best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational improvements
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations relevant to logistics and food handling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Relevant logistics qualifications or certifications are highly desirable
• Experience in the poultry processing or food manufacturing sector would be advantageous
