Job summary

Kuala Lumpur Fried Chicken is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination in Malaysia. You will work with the QC team to ensure material integrity and regulatory compliance while maintaining accurate records and reporting.

Responsibilities include stock verification, coordinating deliveries regionally, and supporting continuous improvement in efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, supply chain management, or Quality Control (QC).
• Experience in the frozen food, food manufacturing, or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with QC/QA experience who are interested in transitioning into warehouse and logistics operations are encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, stock control and logistics coordination.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, food safety, and quality management requirements will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) / inventory management systems will be an added advantage.
• Good organizational, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with warehouse, logistics, production, purchasing, quality and other relevant departments.

• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure raw materials and finished goods are inspected, released, labelled, and stored appropriately.
• Ensure proper storage, housekeeping, traceability, and stock rotation in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate Klang Valley and outstation deliveries with customers, suppliers and relevant authorities.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stocks against delivery documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate transportation and ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Support logistics planning to meet operational requirements.
• Prepare and maintain inventory, warehouse, and logistics reports.
• Monitor warehouse and logistics performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, cost effectiveness, and logistics operations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

• Develop, maintain, review and update warehouse and logistics Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of relevant documents and records, and ensure timely implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), where required.
• Prepare and maintain inventory, warehouse, and logistics reports.
• Monitor warehouse and logistics performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, cost effectiveness, and logistics operations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
