Job summary

Genetec Technology Berhad is seeking a Logistics Executive in Bandar Baru Bangi to manage import/export, warehouse upkeep and daily logistics operations. You will coordinate forwarders, couriers, and transporters, ensure accurate documentation, and monitor inventory levels to meet re-order points.

Candidate should have 1–3 years in logistics, be proficient in Excel and ERP systems, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years in logistics, shipping, transportation or supply chain operations preferred.
• Familiar with import/export procedures, shipping docs and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Arrange forwarders, packers and transport for exports of machines.
• Arrange for fumigation and insurance when needed.
• Arrange import shipments with forwarders or courier services.

Job description

To handle import & export activities, warehouse and LMW (License Manufacturing Warehouse) matters.

Key responsibilities

To arrange forwarders, packers and transporter for machines export, to arrange for fumigation and insurance if necessary

Arrange forwarders or courier service for import shipment.

Handle all custom related matters, like custom forms, monthly report etc

Apply or renew LMW (License Manufacturing Warehouse)

Apply new exemption which is not in the existing LMW (License Manufacturing Warehouse) list

Monitor the inventory level in warehouse, not exceeding the maximum level or lower than the re-order point

Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurate and recorded

Lead and supervise the logistics & warehouse team on day-to-day activities

Any other job as assigned by the Management from time to time

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferably 1–3 years of working experience in logistics, shipping, transportation, or supply chain operations.

Familiar with import and export procedures, shipping documentation, delivery coordination, and transportation arrangements.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experienced in using ERP systems or logistics management software.

Good organizational, coordination, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet delivery deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders, transporters, warehouse personnel, and internal departments.

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
